Job summary

Summit Fire & Security seeks a Fire Sprinkler Contract Sales Representative in the Cincinnati area to drive new business and expand services through construction and retrofit projects. You will lead the full sales cycle, from bid invites to contract closure, while building lasting relationships with contractors, owners, and facilities managers.

Responsibilities include generating proposals, tracking active bids, coordinating with design and project teams, and supporting accounting and marketing

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant proven experience in business development, new contract sales and/or retrofit sales.
• Knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems and large residential fire sprinkler systems preferred.
• Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and bids for fire sprinkler projects preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with general contractors, building owners, property managers, and facility managers.
• 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work including installation service and support of fire protection systems; sell Summit's services.
• Provide outside and inside sales.
• Solicit all building/construction types: new construction, renovations, additions, retrofits.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract/Notice to Proceed; coordinate with Sales and Customer.
• Generate new proposals, follow-up on active proposals, and close sales.
• Communicate status of active proposals to Management.
• Attend internal and external meetings to coordinate design, submittals, and progress.
• Represent the company professionally to customers and industry contacts; emphasize relationships and quality.
• Support Project Managers and Design Department with schedules, product info, and coordination.
• Assist Accounting with job setup, profitability tracking, billing, and change orders.
• Assist with general marketing activities and promotions.
• Self-starter, organized, and detail oriented; strong communication and follow-through.
