Job summary

Silco Fire & Security invites a motivated Fire Sprinkler Estimator / Sales Representative to join our Cincinnati team. You will estimate costs for sprinkler installations and maintenance, while driving sales by engaging with customers and delivering tailored proposals.

Ideal candidates have strong sprinkler system knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven sales track record. Required: drive, independence, and collaborative spirit to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sprinkler estimator, sales representative, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems design, installation, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a related degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather information for estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for sprinkler installations and maintenance.
• Develop and present proposals and bids to potential customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with design and installation teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to advise customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Maintain records of estimates, sales activities, and interactions using CRM.
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote the company and generate leads.
