Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Sales Representative to grow the organization through new business in construction and/or services for fire protection systems. You will qualify opportunities, present solutions, and support close rates while following company policies.

You will also track activity in CRM and ensure timely communication with customers. The role covers outside and inside sales, managing bids, traveling up to 40%, coordinating with project teams, and building relationships that

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business or related field is preferred.
• 2 years relevant work experience in business development or Fire Life Safety sales is preferred.
• 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work and sell Summit's services.
• Provide outside and inside sales support.
• Solicit all building and construction types: new construction, renovations, additions, retrofits.
• Lead the sales process from contact to contract/Notice to Proceed.
• Generate new relationships and foster existing relationships to drive sales.
• Prepare new proposals and follow up on active proposals to close sales.
• Communicate status of active proposals to Management.
• Attend internal and external meetings as needed for project coordination.
• Represent Summit professionally to clients and industry partners.
