Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire/Security Technician to service and maintain fire alarm and electronic security systems across the Tampa Bay region, including Pinellas, Tampa, and surrounding areas. The role requires travel to customer locations and hands-on troubleshooting of alarm panels, access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of field experience, FASA/BASA certification, EST preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
• Experience servicing security systems (Access Control, CCTV, intrusion detection).
• FASA/BASA certification is required.
• EST (Edwards Systems Technology) certification is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program, diagnose, and repair fire alarm panels and devices.
• Service and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including: Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Perform system testing, inspections, and commissioning.
• Diagnose system failures and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and end users.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer locations and service calls.

Fire/Security Technician – Tampa, FL

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire/Security Technician to support service and maintenance projects throughout the Tampa Bay region. This position will be responsible for servicing customer locations in Pinellas, Tampa, Homosassa, Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Ruskin, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both fire alarm and electronic security systems and be comfortable traveling throughout the territory to support customer needs.

Pay: $32/hr

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program, diagnose, and repair fire alarm panels and associated devices.
• Service and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including:
  • Access Control
  • CCTV/Video Surveillance
  • Intrusion Detection Systems
• Perform system testing, inspections, and commissioning.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
