Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire/Security Technician to support service and maintenance projects across the Tampa Bay region, including Pinellas, Tampa, Homosassa, Lake Wales, Winter Haven, and Ruskin. Travel throughout the territory to service customer locations and ensure optimal operation of fire alarm and electronic security systems.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with fire alarm systems and security systems, FASA/BASA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
• Experience servicing security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• FASA/BASA certification is required; EST certification is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program, diagnose, and repair fire alarm panels and associated devices.
• Service and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Perform system testing, inspections, and commissioning.
• Diagnose system failures and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer locations and service calls.

Fire/Security Technician - Tampa, FL

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire/Security Technician to support service and maintenance projects throughout the Tampa Bay region. This position will be responsible for servicing customer locations in Pinellas, Tampa, Homosassa, Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Ruskin, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both fire alarm and electronic security systems and be comfortable traveling throughout the territory to support customer needs.

Pay

Pay: $32/hr

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program, diagnose, and repair fire alarm panels and associated devices.
• Service and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including:
• Access Control
• CCTV/Video Surveillance
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Perform system testing, inspections, and commissioning.
• Diagnose system failures and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and end users.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer locations and service calls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
• Experience servicing security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• FASA/BASA certification is required.
• EST (Edwards Systems Technology) certification is highly preferred.
• Preferred manufacturer experience with:

• Bosch
• Strong understanding of fire alarm and security system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
