Job summary

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple service calls, and deliver reliable customer support.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in fire alarm or related fields, a valid Texas Alarm License, and strong independent work skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm, security, or low-voltage systems.
• Valid Texas Alarm License (required to perform low-voltage work in Texas).
• Strong service, installation, and troubleshooting experience.

Loyal Source is seeking two skilled Fire Service Technicians in the Austin, TX area to support installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm, security, and low-voltage systems. We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong technical background who thrive in a fast-paced service environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems.
• Diagnose and repair system issues efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to approximately 4-5 service tickets per day.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system status, repairs, and recommendations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once per month.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm, security, or low-voltage systems.
• Valid Texas Alarm License (required to perform low-voltage work in Texas).
• Strong service, installation, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working on security-related projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fire Alarm License (FAL) preferred.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Must be available for on-call support approximately once per month.
