Qualifications

• 3+ years servicing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
• FASA/BASA certification required.
• EST certification highly preferred.
• Experience with Edwards, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, or Bosch is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program fire alarm panels and devices.
• Diagnose system issues and perform timely repairs.
• Conduct testing, inspections, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire Technician to support fire alarm system projects throughout the Tampa, FL area, with a primary focus on servicing Hillsborough County Schools. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who is passionate about delivering quality service, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring life safety compliance.

Pay: $32/hr

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Program fire alarm panels and associated devices.
• Diagnose system issues and perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct testing, inspections, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and industry codes.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and school personnel.
• Travel throughout the local Tampa/Hillsborough County area as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems.
• FASA/BASA certification is required.
• EST (Edwards Systems Technology) certification is highly preferred.
• Preferred manufacturer experience with:
  • Edwards
  • Silent Knight
  • Fire-Lite
  • Bosch
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
