Job summary

Wachter is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm, Intrusion, and Access Control Service Technician to service retail locations nationwide from Connecticut. The role requires field installation experience, CT electrical licensure, and the ability to work day shifts with some nights.

Candidates with NICET certification and relevant licenses are preferred. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining IP video, access control, and fire alarm systems; reading blueprints and site maps; and providing

Qualifications

• State of Connecticut C6 Electrical Limited Journeyperson credential required.
• Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm / Intrusion / Access Control.
• NICET certification preferred; Physical Security or Life Safety license where applicable.
• Knowledgeable about NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72.
• Work schedule mainly daytime with some night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment for IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and drill through walls as needed.
• Complete wiring and terminations to ensure compliant Access Control and Intrusion systems.
