Wachter, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician to support work at retail locations across the United States.

The role requires self-motivated, reliable technicians who can work independently on service and installation projects with a focus on long-term employment and competitive pay. Qualifications

• Field installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm /Intrusion / Access Control
• NICET certification preferred
• Current/valid state Physical Security and/or Life Safety license required
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 72 standards
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and internal systems

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment in IP Video, Access Control / Intrusion Alarm / LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings including drilling concrete and conduit bending
• Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet contractual requirements
• Install, repair, or upgrade fire alarm systems and program control panels
• Test newly installed systems to ensure operational status
• Adhere to project safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on schedules and delivery
• Troubleshoot new system installations to meet codes and insurance requirements
