Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell our fire, life safety and security products to new and existing clients in the United States. The role emphasizes building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying prospects, and presenting solutions aligned with client needs.

The ideal candidate has a marketing or sales background, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or at least five years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to determine product or service needs and suggests suitable solutions.
• Demonstrates product functions and benefits based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer relationships post-sale and resolves issues.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and travels as required.
• Prepares periodic territory sales forecasts.
