Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Pasco, WA is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include using tools, troubleshooting NFPA-based systems, documenting work orders, and maintaining safety programs. Travel 90% is required; strong communication and safety compliance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must read/write and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and/or repair fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components of suppression systems.
• Repair or replace damaged components of suppression systems and related equipment.
• Communicate with customers and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete documentation on work orders and track through Field Service Lightning.
