Job summary

PACE Supply Corp. in Nampa, ID is seeking a Fire Protection Specialist to develop new business with contractors and end-users, while driving growth in fire protection products.

You will manage orders and collaborate with the outside sales team to increase sales, with a focus on timely quotes and accurate order processing. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of counter sales in fire protection, strong communication, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years in counter sales with a strong background in Fire Protection.
• Proficient management of open orders and backorders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Process orders from customers via phone and email.
• Manage orders, open orders, and backorders; communicate them to the customer.
• Build relationships with local customers visiting the Specialist location.
• Collaborate with the outside salesperson to increase Fire Protection product sales.
• Provide quotes to customers through collaboration with the outside salesperson.
• Monitor and address inventory and inventory issues; follow warehousing and shipping best practices.
• Learn about products through vendor training and internal resources.
