Job summary

Perimeter Solutions (Solberg) is seeking an Inside Sales professional to manage customer relationships and drive growth in the fire protection industry. You will handle quotes, orders and customer inquiries, while coordinating with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Customer Service in a fast-paced, in-office setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in inside or technical sales, knowledge of NFPA codes a plus, and strong CRM/Microsoft Office skills to support revenue growth and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of inside sales or technical sales experience.
• Experience in fire protection, industrial safety, or building systems preferred; knowledge of NFPA codes a plus.
• Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts; respond to inbound inquiries and reach out to potential customers.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve price discrepancies and distributor sales issues, approving routine exceptions within authority.
• Negotiate delivery schedules, product alternatives, and order priorities to meet requirements.
• Educate customers on product offerings and track preferences to support sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, engineering, and customer service to meet customer requirements.
