Job summary

The Hiller Companies is seeking a Service Sales Representative to drive new and existing business in fire protection and safety products, systems and services. You will qualify customers, schedule calls, and educate buyers on the value of our full service offering.

In this role, you will maintain accurate records, forecast outcomes, and coordinate with the Service Department to schedule work after sale. A strong background in B2B outside sales and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; external sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of work experience.
• 3–5 years of end-user B2B outside sales experience in fire protection or life safety is a plus.
• Experience in service sales is preferred; ability to close on value.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn and apply local fire codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify buyers for service contracts and educate on full service offerings.
• Maintain records of sales calls and related activities; submit forecasts and expenses.
• Develop account-specific sales strategies and meet assigned sales goals.
• Maintain quotes in the Service Trade Software Platform and coordinate with the Service Department.
