CMT Services, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Program Improvement Support Specialist to perform internal fire protection assessments, analyze results, and work with engineers and operations staff to resolve issues and vulnerabilities in the Fire Protection Program.

The role involves developing and managing fire protection databases, conducting root-cause analyses, and updating procedures and training to comply with DOE standards and site manuals.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Business, Communications, Education or Engineering, with 10 years equivalent experience in project/technical support or document/configuration control in nuclear/chemical facilities/environment.
• Experience with internal fire protection assessments and data extraction from technical reports.
• Familiar with S/RID requirements (e.g. Safety Basis) implementation at SRS.
• QA auditing experience and knowledge of corrective action processes.
• Strong document control and configuration management capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Analyze, review, assess, and extract relevant information from assessments, program documents, procedures and technical reports with little or no supervision.
• Support development, maintenance, and administration of Fire Protection databases regarding S/RID and NFPA requirements.
• Perform causal analyses to design and implement remediation and proactive resolutions.
• Collaborate with Fire Protection Engineers, Design Authority Engineers, and Operations staff to update procedures and training protocols to meet DOE-STD-1066-2012 and Site Manual 2Q.
