CMT Services, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Program Improvement Support Specialist to perform internal fire protection assessments, analyze results, and work with engineers and operations staff to resolve issues and vulnerabilities in the Fire Protection Program.
The role involves developing and managing fire protection databases, conducting root-cause analyses, and updating procedures and training to comply with DOE standards and site manuals.

Position Title: Fire Protection Program Improvement Support Specialist
The primary purpose of this position is to perform internal fire protection related assessments and observations; analyze the results of both internal and external fire protection related assessments; and work with Fire Protection Engineers (FPE), Design Authority Engineers (DAE) and Facility Operations personnel to effect resolutions to identified issues, gaps and vulnerabilities in the Fire Protection Program.
Education:
Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Business, Communications, Education or Engineering, with 10 years equivalent experience in project/technical support or document/configuration control in/ nuclear/chemical facilities/environment.
Experience/Skills:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). A 4/10 schedule is preferred. Work week excludes SRS holidays.
