Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection engineering designs, including sprinkler, suppression systems, fire pumps, and fire alarms.
• Act as QFPE for work with federal projects, providing life safety analyses and design.
• Review draft designs to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and sign off on completed designs.
• Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals and review drafts for adherence to regulations and best practices.
• Perform site assessments and studies to ensure designs meet industry standards and local requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
