Job summary

The Hiller Companies, a global fire protection leader, seeks a Service Sales Representative to drive growth by promoting full fire protection products, systems and services to new and existing customers. You will develop strategies per account, manage quotes, and coordinate with service teams to schedule work.

The role emphasizes outside sales, B2B interaction, and knowledge of local fire codes, with a compensation mix of base plus commissions and a focus on safety solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Typically 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience. Service sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling calls and educating customers on our service offerings.
• Maintain records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit all sales reports and expenses promptly.
• Develop a sales strategy for each account based on customer needs.
• Close sales to meet assigned sales goals.
• Maintain quotes in Service Trade Software Platform; coordinate with Service Dept for scheduling.
