IMEG is hiring a Fire Protection New Graduate in Des Moines, Iowa.

This entry-level role offers hands‑on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one.You will assist with the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of fire protection systems in buildings, while supporting project planning, quality control, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fire protection or related engineering field is required.
• Internship in building design consulting preferred.
• EIT licensure preferred.
• NICET Level I/II certification preferred for fire alarm or water-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of fire protection systems per codes and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress with senior staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to development and innovation within IMEG.
