Job summary

IMEG Corp is hiring a Fire Protection New Graduate in Des Moines, IA for a hands-on entry‑level experience with mentorship and growth opportunities from day one.

You will assist with design, analysis, and implementation oversight of fire protection systems in buildings while supporting project planning, quality control, and multidisciplinary coordination across public safety, industrial, and federal facilities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field required.
• Internship in building design consulting is preferred.
• EIT license preferred; NICET Level I/II preferred in Fire Alarm/Water-Based Systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of fire protection systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to capture needs and coordinate with project teams.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Contribute to quality control and progress monitoring of designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fire protection.
