Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems. The Company goal is to grow inspection revenues while maintaining profits, satisfying customers, and staying NFPA‑compliant.

Travel to customer sites is required in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment focused on customer development and quality work. This role involves inspections from man lifts at 30–40 feet, annual backflow and fire pump inspections,

Qualifications

• Must hold NICET LV 1 (ITWBS) certification.
• Sprinkler inspector with backflow license and 3+ years' experience.
• Perform NFPA 25 inspections on various water-based systems.
• Perform NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems; standpipe experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to obtain NICET.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections from man lifts at elevations of 30 to 40 feet.
• Conduct annual inspections on domestic and fire back flows.
• Monitor progress and completion of all assigned tasks.
• Submit inspection reports and work tickets to administrative staff promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and coordinate with customers.
