Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems, with travel to customer sites. The role focuses on customer development, quality work, and NFPA compliance across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to operate ladders and lifts. A valid driver’s license and NICET certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• NICET certification is a plus or obtainable.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain required certifications (including NICET).
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA 25 weekly & monthly fire pumps runs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of fire pumps.
• Monitor and ensure progress and completion of all tasks.
• Submit all work tickets and inspection reports to admin in a timely manner.
• Self-schedule daily inspections.
• Upsell company capabilities to new and existing customers.
• Inspect from man lifts at elevations of 30 to 40 feet as necessary.
