Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new inspection contracts for fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow preventers, extinguishers, kitchen hood and special hazard systems.

You will identify prospects, cold call when needed, and plan sales activities while traveling to client sites. The role requires 5+ years of B2B sales experience in fire life safety or related field, a valid driver’s license, and a proven track record of closing deals.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license and a presentable vehicle are required.
• High School Diploma is required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience selling inspection or service contracts in a B2B environment.
• Previous experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry is a plus.
• Must be a self-starter with strong communication and a proven track record of accomplishments.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers by cold calling and visiting client sites.
• Track activity in CRM and schedule follow-ups (Salesforce).
• Collect and catalog client contacts and equipment information.
• Perform site visits to client facilities to assess needs.
• Provide quotes for new clients using the CRM system.
• Close sales and transfer information to inspection department.
• Ensure timely follow-up on leads and tasks.
• Attend networking and marketing events to gain contacts.
• Manage large accounts effectively.
