Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solutions Sales Executive for the Smart Buildings Total Fire Alarm & Life Safety Solutions team in Anchorage, AK. You will develop plans to grow relationships with contractors, consultants, AHJs, developers and end-users, pursuing opportunities and executing deals within guidelines.

You will advocate Siemens technology, trends in automation, fire and life safety, and IoT while maintaining relationships to ensure safe, emergency-ready workplaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in end-to-end Sales, business development, or consulting in commercial building industries.
• Must be able to estimate and sell technical solutions independently.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Understand market, competitors, customers and decision influencers across region, segments and verticals.
• Develop a vertical market and account plan for strategic growth and go-to-market strategies for end-user customers.
• Maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities and achieve new orders and profit goals.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Attend industry events and build a network with professional organizations to represent Siemens.
• Influence new construction specifications by engaging engineers and architects.
• Document customer goals and success metrics with client teams.
• Prepare value-based proposals and coordinate with finance, legal and other resources.
