Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Sales Account Manager to join our fast-growing team in Fresno, CA. You will partner with existing customers and build new relationships to provide low voltage, fire, life safety products, and services.

The role emphasizes identifying needs, proposing upgrades, and selling service agreements. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales within fire/life safety or related industries, with strong communication and negotiation skills, and a commitment to customer

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.
• At least 2 years of successful sales or business development experience in fire/life safety or related industries.
• Proven ability to sell service agreements to various levels within customer organizations.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety systems and equipment.
• Understanding of life safety inspection codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS).
• Strong self-discipline, prioritization, and deadline-driven work style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with tact and diplomacy.
• Reliable, self-motivated, with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and CRM software.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and developing customer relationships, upselling, and submitting pricing proposals.
• Identify customer needs and develop strategies to meet business objectives.
• Identify and propose low voltage system upgrade opportunities.
• Sell fire alarm and sprinkler annual and 5-year inspections.
• Generate proposals for repairs and service work identified during inspections.
• Identify work due to tenant improvements and coordinate with contractors.
• Collaborate with contractors, facility managers, and property managers to drive sales.
• Work with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to identify leads.
• Participate in trade shows and events to increase sales and brand image.
• Achieve agreed sales targets within schedule.
