Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Field Project Manager for its Fire division to lead complex installation projects across diverse facilities. You will establish local project offices, define scope, identify risks, allocate resources, and manage schedules, costs, and quality to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, certifications in Fire & Life Safety, and PMI/NICET timelines. Travel is required; a company vehicle may be provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and relevant Fire & Life Safety certification.
• PM certification within two years and NICET II within one year.
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel; ability to create macros.
• Willingness for frequent local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities.
• Define project scope, manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations; facilitate required resources.
• Present project updates to management and customers; ensure projects close on time and within scope.
