Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Project Manager in the Fire division to lead projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, cost control, and quality. You will coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, on-time, and profitable outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years PM experience in commercial construction or life-safety projects, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' PM experience in commercial construction or life-safety projects.
• Ability to travel locally and read project plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire projects from initiation through closeout ensuring scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and track milestones.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts, and margins.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety requirements, and standards.
• Support documentation, invoicing, and closeout activities.
• Build positive customer relationships and act as primary contact.
