Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety seeks an Outside Sales Representative to sell Fire & Life Safety products to current and new clients in Grapevine, TX. You will grow revenue by building relationships, identifying leads, and presenting tailored solutions to meet customers’ needs.

You will maintain ongoing communication, provide product demonstrations, and deliver post-sale support while reporting activity and forecasting territory performance. Travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or 5+ years related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify needs and suggests products/services.
• Demonstrates functions and utility of products to meet customer needs.
• Maintains customer relationships and resolves issues post-sale.
• Maintains communication about new products and enhancements.
• Prepares detailed reports of sales activities and forecasts territory performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
