Job summary

McCoy Fire & Safety, part of the Atlantis Fire Protection family, seeks a field inspector to perform scheduled inspections and testing of water-based systems, fire alarms, and backflow prevention. You will document findings, communicate life-safety impacts, and maintain credentials in line with NFPA and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant inspection/service experience.
• NICET Level II certification in water-based systems and fire alarm testing; second certification attempt within period may be required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes, confirm contacts, and maintain professional communication with customers.
• Inspect and test water-based systems per NFPA 25 and applicable codes.
• Inspect fire alarm systems per NFPA 72 and approved procedures.
• Perform backflow testing and complete required forms per local requirements.
• Document results, photos, and recommendations in company software; generate reports.
