  • Follow OSHA, company, customer, electrical-safety, ladder/lift, PPE, lockout/tagout, confined-space, and impairment procedures; report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and accidental activations immediately.
  • Maintain required licenses, permits, certifications, continuing education, manufacturer training, and code knowledge; support after-hours, weekend, emergency, and regional assignments when business needs require.
Required Qualifications & Credentials

  • Current NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and NICET Level II in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems required. A candidate holding one may be considered if qualified to obtain the second within a company‑approved period.

  • For Florida assignments: active Water‑Based Fire Protection Inspector Permit and Fire Alarm System Agent (FASA) credential required as applicable; BASA required only when assigned burglar/security system work. Maintain all state/local permits and continuing education.
  • Proficient with inspection software, mobile devices, digital reports, email, photos, and basic electrical/mechanical test equipment; able to read plans, riser diagrams, sequence‑of‑operations documents, and inspection records.
