This on-site role in the Philadelphia area requires attention to detail and the ability to read technical documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required or preferred.
• State or local fire alarm inspection certification or license where required.
• Ability to read system documentation, drawings and technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of commercial fire alarm and life-safety systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Inspect fire alarm control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and related components.
• Verify proper operation of fire alarm system functions and interfaces with building systems.
• Document inspection results and deficiencies using company forms and reporting systems.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Travel to customer locations and maintain professional appearance and safety practices.
