Job summary

Century Fire Protection Llc is seeking a field inspector to perform routine inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems in diverse environments. You will verify water flow, pressure, valves, and alarm functions, then document findings for customers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in the fire protection industry, knowledge of NFPA 25, and NICET II or higher certification (preferred or obtainable).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems or working in the fire protection industry.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25, building codes, and fire protection systems.
• NICET Level II or higher certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Verify proper system operation, water flow, pressure, valves, and alarm functionality per NFPA 25.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain complete documentation.
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations to customers and project managers.
• Coordinate with service technicians for repairs or corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure tools, testing equipment, and inspection materials are maintained and safe.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with codes and best practices.
