Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced construction sales representative to grow the large projects division, focusing on new fire alarm system sales in collaboration with electrical and general contractors. The role supports turnkey, partial turnkey, or parts-and-smarts offerings to gain a competitive edge, expanding into mission critical and new construction sectors.

The position emphasizes building partnerships, meeting annual sales targets, and maintaining detailed sales activity

Qualifications

• EST 4 and EST Edge platforms experience.
• Experience with mission critical facility fire protection systems.
• NICET II or equivalent certification.
• Experience using Bidnet and Bid Tracer for quoting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Bluebeam and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Sales focus on fire protection with emphasis on fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm system installation requirements and methods.
• Experience writing proposals and estimates.
• Establish customer rapport and build strategic partnerships.
• Meet yearly sales goals set by the sales manager.
• Communicate with customers to identify needs and propose suitable products.
• Demonstrate product functions and value based on customer needs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities and forecasts.
• Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
