Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced leader to manage operations related to facilities compliance and Fire Life Safety for a major client portfolio in Richmond, VA. You will oversee vendor relationships, develop programs, and provide executive reporting to ensure quality, speed, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in facilities management or compliance, with strong data, documentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in science, technical, or related discipline
• Master’s Degree in Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Science, EHS, or related field
• 8+ years of facilities mgmt, compliance, or program mgmt experience
• Experience with Fire Life Safety programs and vendor oversight
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship and interface for assigned business segment and initiatives
• Establish Trusted Advisor SME in compliance, programs, FLS focusing on fire life safety
• Coordinate work between internal and external groups
• Lead programs to create value and ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure processes are followed with agility to meet needs
• Provide leadership for design, development, and implementation of programs
• Manage approval processes for projects and escalate risks
• Collaborate with account-wide teams to share lessons learned
• Oversee Fire Life Safety vendors, inspections, testing, and maintenance
• Maintain vendor certifications, licenses, and insurance
• Track FLS inspections and compliance across portfolio
• Coordinate with EHS and client stakeholders to resolve deficiencies
• Escalate FLS incidents and vendor performance issues
• Review scopes of work, proposals, and invoices within budget
• Provide exec-level dashboards on program and compliance
• Prepare compliance and FLS updates to client and leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ensure QA and CAPA activities align with standards
