Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in facility management or building operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations (OSHA, ADA, local codes).
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with proven solutions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, evaluating performance and negotiating terms to optimize costs.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Lead capital improvement projects from planning through execution within budget and schedule.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and audits for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Respond to emergencies and implement business continuity plans to protect people and assets.
• Monitor facility budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service.
