Job summary

Thompson Safety seeks a Fire Licensing & Scheduling Associate to manage licensure applications, changes and renewals for company and individuals in the fire life safety sector. You will also schedule business services for multiple customers and support a range of administrative projects for the company.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while communicating clearly with management, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience with demonstrated success at executing administrative practices at a high level.
• Self-starter who is dependable and looking to grow their skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, complete work accurately and timely.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage your day by working independently and as a team.
• Strong working knowledge of office equipment & systems like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for researching and executing applications, changes and renewals for company and individual licenses required to perform work in the fire life safety industry.
• Assist with scheduling business services for multiple fire life safety customers.
• Responds to general inquiries from management, employees, customers both inside and outside of the company.
• Interface with vendors and various internal teams.
• Assist with special projects and research as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
