Job summary

El Pollo Loco Fresno is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team, ensure exceptional service, and manage restaurant operations during your shift, while upholding safety and quality standards. You will open/close procedures, monitor service speed, train teammates, handle cash deposits, and support the Area Leader to maintain inventory and compliance with EPL specs.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Must meet EPL SPECS positions requirements or pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.
• Proven ability to lead teams and maintain QSC standards.

Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures including security and cash handling.
• Manage crew tasks, food prep, and cleaning to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per EPL specs and health codes.
• Train team members on new products and procedures.
• Ensure customer service speed and satisfaction goals are met.
