El Pollo Loco in Carson, CA seeks a Shift Leader to manage daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. You will lead a team to deliver fast, friendly service and uphold safety and quality standards, including cash handling and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures, crew tasks, inventory checks, and deliveries.
• Ensure service speed and cleanliness meet standards; enforce safety and QSC standards.
• Prioritize tasks, manage breaks, and adjust staffing based on sales volume.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash operations, deposits, and audits during shifts.
• Greet customers, assist with orders, and strive to exceed expectations.
• Perform other duties to support restaurant operations.
