Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a 2-year technical college/school pursuing Electro-Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Systems, or related program.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for a 10-week program (May–August).
• Must be onsite at the Houston area location; no relocation or housing stipend.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, and mechanical rooms.
• Hands-on role using hand tools and digital devices to review programs and troubleshoot building systems.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable on Windows-based laptops.
• Strong communication skills to document work and explain technical issues.

Responsibilities

• 80% Field Technician Experience: learn installation, programming, and servicing HVAC and building automation on job sites.
• 10% Sales Exposure: observe how Siemens engages customers and designs solutions.
• 10% Project & Service Operations: rotate through service/project delivery to support maintenance and upgrades.
• Visit customer sites with technicians to troubleshoot Fire Alarm Systems and electronic control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Interface with customers to document service activities and provide basic training.
