Siemens is offering the Smart Building Internship Program in the Atlanta area (Norcross, GA). You will work as a Fire Alarm Systems Technician Intern, gaining hands-on field experience on job sites while learning installation, programming and service of advanced building systems.

The program emphasizes hands‑on training, collaboration with engineering and project management teams, and exposure to sales activities, with a 10‑week schedule from May to August.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 10‑week program (May–August).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Onsite work in the Atlanta area (Norcross, GA) with no relocation housing stipend.

Responsibilities

• Spend most time on job sites with Siemens technicians learning installation, programming and servicing HVAC automation systems.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and project teams to understand customer needs and solutions.
• Document service activities, explain system operations, and provide basic training for hand‑off to customers.
• Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and supporting new installations and system commissioning.
