Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Technician to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems. The role requires working with various alarm technologies, following safety rules, and communicating effectively with customers and monitoring services.

The ideal candidate has a NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification, 2 years of Fire Life Safety experience, and the ability to travel locally up to 90%.

Qualifications

• 2 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm, required.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification, required.
• 2 years of professional computer skills, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems.
• Document work orders and track materials and time.
• Communicate with customers and monitoring companies professionally.
• Stay current with safety policies and company procedures.
• Travel locally up to 90% of the time.
