Job summary

Summit Fire & Security LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm & Security Service Manager to oversee the department’s operations, inspections, services and installations. You will drive financial performance, lead staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across assigned area(s).

The role requires 7 years in fire life safety, supervisory experience, and strong BI/ERP skills. Expect extensive local travel and a comprehensive benefits package on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent preferred.
• NICET or state certification preferred.
• 7 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• 7 years of professional computer skills.
• 3 years Supervisory experience within Fire Alarm.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• 3 years using business intelligence systems, Sage 300 CRE, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fire alarm & security department including inspections, services, and installations.
• Manage department financial performance including P&L, gross revenue, gross margin, and overhead.
• Communicate financial progress and growth strategies with management.
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to codes and standards.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and talent development.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations for planning and scheduling.
• Lead final checkout/commissioning with AHJ, Owner, Architect/Engineer, GC/CM.
