Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Manchester, NH seeks a Fire Alarm & Security Manager to oversee the department's operations, inspections, services, and installations while driving profitability and performance across assigned area(s). You will lead staffing, bid projections, employee development, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires frequent travel (up to 90% locally) and close collaboration with management, customers, AHJs, and project teams to deliver successful

Qualifications

• 7 years Fire Life Safety Industry experience, specifically in Fire Alarm.
• NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Certification required.
• Fire Alarm Systems Agent (FASA) Certification required.
• 3 years Supervisory experience within Fire Alarm.
• 3 years professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fire alarm & security department including inspections, services & installations.
• Manage financial performance as indicated on P&L statements and departmental gross revenue, gross margin and overhead.
• Communicate with management about financial progress, growth strategies and human capital needs.
• Ensure safe, compliant execution of work and proper internal workflow/paperwork with field staff.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and training; monitor route efficiency and project coordination.
• Coordinate inspections, final checkout/commissioning with AHJ, Owner, Architect/Engineer and General Contractor/Construction Manager.
