Job summary

Summit Fire & Security seeks a Fire Suppression Manager to oversee the department's operations and financial performance, acting as subject matter expert to achieve profitability, growth, and performance metrics. The role requires coordinating inspections, services, installs, and life-safety systems across field and office teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Business (or equivalent), 10 years in Fire Life Safety, and strong leadership—plus travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent required.
• 10 years Fire Life Safety industry experience in Fire Suppression.
• 7 years professional computer skills.
• 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must read/write English proficiently.
• Valid driver's license; travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fire Suppression department operations and financial performance.
• Manage P&L, gross revenue, gross margin, and overhead.
• Coordinate with management on budgets, growth, and resource planning.
• Lead field oversight: inspections, services, installs, and programs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes and standards.
