Firetrol seeks a Fire Alarm Systems Sales Representative in Odessa, TX to drive new business in the Lubbock market. You will prospect, develop clients, and upsell multi-line fire protection services, while maintaining existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting to potential clients in a sales role.
• Knowledge of the fire alarm industry is required.
• Business-to-business sales experience is essential.
• Bid market sales experience in the Lubbock area is preferred.
• Background checks in compliance with state, federal and customs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers, including upselling and multi-line development of services.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact to seek follow-on sales.
• Report progress and supply metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly and monthly.

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Sales Representative to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Odessa, TX location.

• Selling New Construction, Retro-fit, Fire Alarm System Monitoring and Tenant Improvement fire alarm work in the Lubbock area market. This position will be responsible for prospecting and developing new customers, business and customer development to include up-selling and multi-line development of services, providing and negotiating pricing for fire alarm contract sales.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of follow up sales.
• Report progress and supply metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Participate in special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image.
• Experience in Service and Inspection sales is a plus.

Requirements

• Candidate must have experience in a sales role that included presenting to potential clients and negotiating in direct sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of the Fire Alarm Industry and Lubbock region.
• Business to Business Sales experience.
• Bid Market sales experience in Lubbock area.
• Must be able to satisfy State, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
