Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound and communications systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with IT/network concepts.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor up to 50–70 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overnight travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and assess equipment issues.
• Diagnose problems and repair fire alarm systems and related building systems at customer sites.
• Program fire alarm, security, and access control panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and manuals.
• Maintain truck inventory and provide quotes to support recommendations.
