Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Detection Service Technician 2 to service and repair fire alarm systems and related building technologies at customer sites across our coverage area.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and program panel devices while ensuring high customer satisfaction and safety compliance. This is an on-site role with potential on-call duties and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with fire alarm, access control, security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Good computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and contact customer reps to diagnose issues.
• Diagnose, repair and service fire alarm and related building systems onsite.
• Read manuals, modify and program panels, and test systems.
• Maintain safety and high levels of customer service; document work.
