Job summary

The Biltmore Company in Asheville, NC seeks a Dining Room Attendant to assist servers and supervisors in delivering world-class food and beverage service that meets Forbes Four Star standards. You will support water service, bread and butter service, and menu/wine descriptions, while keeping dining areas spotless and well stocked.

Schedule typically 3:00pm-11:00pm with weekend availability required; at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant is strongly preferred.
• Commitment to world class guest service and teamwork.
• Outstanding attention to detail and speed/accuracy in tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Replenish table items and assist in addressing guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures and standards.
• Comply with liquor regulations and minors restrictions.
• Replace soiled linens, clean and set tables with silverware and glassware.
• Maintain table settings and monitor guest spills or special needs.
• Close dining area by cleaning, sweeping, and removing trash.
