Job summary

Biltmore is seeking Dining Room Attendants to support servers and supervisors in delivering world-class food and beverage service to guests, upholding Forbes Four Star standards. You will assist with water service, bread and butter, menu and wine descriptions, and table resets while helping maintain dining room cleanliness and proper service procedures.

The role emphasizes strong guest service, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is strongly preferred, particularly in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Commitment to delivering world class guest service and the ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic, guest-service oriented team.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to perform essential job functions with speed and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to be proactive and take initiative as appropriate.
• Should be able to anticipate and understand guest needs, and follow up with them appropriately.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with deadlines, and exercise good judgment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Guest service pertaining to replenishing table items, anticipating and addressing guest needs, and clearing dining area according to restaurant procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all service procedures, established standards, company, and departmental policies.
• Maintain knowledge of state liquor regulations, particularly prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
• Replaces soiled table linens, cleans tables, and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; alert to guest spills or other needs.
• Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.
• Will provide general assistance and support for leadership, the department, and the company as required.
• This position may require performing other responsibilities outside the primary duties listed.
