Job summary

Perry's Steakhouse and Grille is seeking a manager to lead restaurant operations in Vernon Hills, IL. The role focuses on delivering Rare and Well-Done guest experiences, enforcing standards, and guiding teams to execute service and culinary excellence.

The position requires strong leadership, experience in fine dining, and the ability to manage costs while maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous salaried management experience in fine dining restaurants is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
• Servsafe or similar Manager’s Food Handler’s Certificate
• Alcohol Certification (based on location)

Responsibilities

• Lead department-level restaurant operations and model company values.
• Drive teamwork and coach/mentor team members for performance and growth.
• Implement and uphold service standards, systems and procedures.
• Lead shift management and maintain professional, guest-focused presence.
• Manage controllable costs to improve restaurant profitability (labor, food, beverage).
• Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure smooth operations.
